Artist in the Spotlight: Cathy Crofut at the State House

Cathy Crofut, an individual who attends day programs at BCArc, creates deeply vibrant and energetic large-scale paintings using the innovative Artistic Realization Technologies (A.R.T.) technique to place each stroke, color and gesture on the canvas.

In November, don’t miss your chance to see one of Cathy’s paintings on display at the Massachusetts State House in Boston.

Her painting, Untitled, 2017 (below), was selected by the Massachusetts Office on Disability for the exhibit “Breaking Barriers”. The exhibit is on display from November 14 to 26, with an opening reception on November 14.
