WEATHER UPDATE: CATA Studio Programs cancelled Monday 1/26
Program Overview
Paintings, sculptures, and photographs created by CATA artists are exhibited in year-round art shows at museums, galleries, and other cultural and community sites throughout the Berkshires and beyond.
A celebration of creativity and inclusion, “I Am a Part of Art” features vibrant paintings, drawings, and sculpture created by CATA artists with disabilities. Exhibits are held each summer at the Clark Art Institute and the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts.
CATA’s annual Reading of Poetry & Prose spotlights the revelatory work of writers with disabilities who hone their skills throughout the year in CATA’s Writer’s Workshop.
CATA Sharings are purposefully intimate and casual performances where CATA artists with disabilities share their talents for friends, family, and invited guests. We host Sharings regularly at Mass MoCA, Berkshire South Community Center, and at the CATA Studios— and as well as for children and teens in special education classrooms in our school programs. If you’re interested in attending or sponsoring a CATA Sharing, please contact us!
