EXHIBIT GOING VIRTUAL! Stay tuned for our “online” exhibit

CATA presents “SKY”, an exhibit of paintings by artists with disabilities at Good Purpose Gallery.

David Gardner “Willy Wonka” (2018)

In order to support the health and safety of CATA artists and the community, CATA’s exhibit “Sky” at Good Purpose Gallery has been cancelled.

SKY features an extraordinary selection of work created by artists using the adaptive painting technique called Artistic Realization Technologies (A.R.T.). Through the use of laser pointers and intensive collaboration with a trained assistant who acts as the artist’s hands, this technique gives full artistic control to individuals with significant physical disabilities and expands the range of expressive possibilities for artists of all abilities.

Featured artists:

Carol Neuhaus • Catherine Bagnasco • Connie Most • David Gardner
John Chapdelaine • Jon Clark • Josh Aldrich • Katrina Couture
Kim Campbell • Marion Weed • Mike Fazos • Myles Tosk

All works in the exhibit are professionally matted, framed, and available for sale, with proceeds supporting commissions for individual artists. This event is part of CATA’s “Art on Tour” program, where original works of art created by CATA artists travel throughout the year to museums, galleries, community centers, and other venues through Berkshire and Columbia counties.

CATA “Art on Tour” exhibits are sponsored in part by October Mountain Financial Advisors, Frames on Wheels, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and generous supporters like you.
