Join CATA for fun, inclusive, and FREE summer arts workshops for people with disabilities! Recommended for older teens & adults. Feel free to attend with a family member, friend, or one-to-one support staff as needed.

Symbolic Portraits with Chalice Mitchell
Tuesday 10am-11am | July 11, 18, 25 & August 1
*We recommend attending all 4 classes. RSVP’s preferred, drop-in’s also welcome.
We’ll create portraits using objects and symbols that are important to you. We’ll learn new painting techniques, explore a variety of styles—and create an original, finished portrait that celebrates your identity!

Acting & Theater Games with Kelly Galvin

This is a fun, playful chance to use our voices, bodies, and creativity as storytellers. Together, we’ll use theater games, improv, music, and more to explore acting and storytelling in this joyful class.

Creating Comics with Adam Gudeon

Everyone can create comics! We’ll explore different styles of comics, experiment with fun drawing games, and create our own four-panel comics. Activities will be adapted for all abilities—everyone welcome!
Making Music & Movement with Wes Buckley & Beth Liebowitz

In this fun workshop, you’ll be both a dancer and a music-maker! Beth and Wes will encourage you to let your imagination fly. Together, we’ll create a dynamic piece of music and dance. No experience necessary—everyone can participate!
