About the Exhibit:
CATA’s exhibit features vibrant paintings by CATA artists with disabilities. Many of the works were created in CATA’s Adaptive Painting Program, where artists with disabilities use a variety of adaptive techniques to bring their creative vision to life. Additional works were created in CATA’s Supported Studio program. In the Supported Studio, CATA artists work on self-directed projects with the support of a CATA Faculty Mentor.
All works in the exhibit are available for sale, with proceeds supporting commissions for the individual artists.
This event is made possible thanks to the Barr Foundation, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, Frames on Wheels, and generous supporters like you. This exhibit is part of CATA’s “Art on Tour” program, where original works of art created by CATA artists travel throughout the year to museums, galleries, community centers, and other venues in Berkshire and Columbia counties.
