ABOUT THESE PAINTINGS:

These vibrant pieces were created by CATA artists using a technique known as paint pouring. After selecting their own color palette, each artist added a chemical to liquify their paint—allowing them to pour and freely move the colors across the canvas to create stunning patterns. The results are unique to each artist, and bring to mind characteristics of Doppler radars, topographical maps, and molecular studies.
