I AM A PART OF ART: CATA ANNUAL Art SHOW

In these observational drawings, CATA artists highlight details that often go unnoticed when we think about a common object—in this case, a feather. The microscopic texture of a bird’s feather comes to life in Pat Butler’s drawing, while Matt Lomonaco’s slim, tender feather reminds us of the object’s delicate nature. Eric Schumann’s distinct pair of colorful and monochrome feathers expresses the object’s utility—its purpose for flight and daily travel.

Alongside these drawings is a richly layered paper collage by artist Brent Mille, who used dyed mango paper to create an abstract landscape—perfect for a flock of birds.
