Description:
Known for her abstract paintings containing sophisticated color choices and bold brush strokes, Katrina Couture has been working in the A.R.T. process for over 10 years. In June of 2015, one of Couture’s paintings was selected for inclusion in Walk in My Shoes, a group exhibition at Kidspace at MASS MoCA. During the exhibition, Couture held a residency where she led a demonstration of the A.R.T. method for a North Adams school group.
Her work has been shown at the Berkshire Museum, the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, the Clark Art Institute’s Lunder Center at Stone Hill, Good Purpose Gallery and the Worcester Art Museum.
