I AM A PART OF ART: CATA ANNUAL Art SHOW

(10/11) CLARK GROUP 10

Gallery wall with five paintings in tones of green and yellow

ABOUT THESE PAINTINGS:

Using a limited color palette of greens and yellows, the artists in this grouping created a vibrant collection of paintings expressing the sunny moments of early spring.

On the left, Lara Gallant and Justin P capture the dewy quality of a spring morning, with the first green buds appearing across the landscape like a mirage. Combined with these works are three diverse paintings of flowers: Sarah Wiles’ charming daffodils and Alan Dulvaney’s richly textured sunflowers beam with joyful energy, while John Miller lets his flowers pop against a bright white background like freshly cut blossoms ready to be arranged in a vase.
