For the past several years, CATA artist Joe Delisle has developed a unique style creating richly textured abstract paintings using acrylic on canvas. This year, Joe experimented with different media and explored a completely new style. In his Untitled painting seen here, Joe used watercolor to create a vivid scene depicting three birds flocking together at dusk.
Accompanying his painting are two playful, graphic abstract works by Ron St. Germain and Dennis Sartori. Both artists created their work using a single, unbroken line that was then re-traced with various strokes of watercolor paint, resulting in playful, layered pieces that jump off the wall.
