The artists in this grouping used a wide range of styles to convey their own perspectives on natural and environmental themes. The flowers by Susan Booth and Kathy Hamick pop off the canvas with vibrant purple petals against cool green backgrounds. Marion Weed’s rich, abstract painting Fountain of Rainbows evokes the hazy feeling at the end of a storm and the wonderful moment when a rainbow begins to form through a mist of rain. Abstract paintings by Sue Bradford, Tina Bruzzi, and Wendy Noble round out the grouping, together providing a lush landscape of greens, yellows, and pinks that bring to mind the crisp quality of a meadow in its first spring bloom.
