I AM A PART OF ART: CATA ANNUAL Art SHOW

(19/23) LICHTENSTEIN GROUP 19

Gallery wall with four, black and white framed works, three portraits and one abstract

ABOUT THESE PAINTINGS:

This fantastic series of layered line drawings were created by artists using transparent acetate paper. Each artist plotted their drawing on two separate sheets, which they later combined to create a fascinating “double image”. The results are wildly imaginative and incredibly playful. When viewed in person, each piece has an almost 3-dimensional quality that seems to shift depending on the direction from which you view it.
